This year, we will be celebrating Hanukkah, the annual Jewish festival of lights, amidst the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas. Despite the conflict, we will light our menorah, reflect on the story of the Maccabees, who are at the heart of this festival, and consider the valuable lessons we can learn from them during times of war.
