Rev. Andrée, rejuvenated from her five-month sabbatical, returns to our Sunday morning services with the question: What did I miss? She expects, like her, that your response may involve more questions rather than answers. Such as: How did we get here? Was I not paying proper attention in history class? Doesn’t our nation aspire to specific values such as freedom and equality? What happened to upholding those values? What can I do to uphold those values at a time when so many seem focused on destroying them? Come explore these questions and together begin to find some answers to guide us forward.
