Boxes finally unpacked (hopefully!) we gather for our Ingathering — our first official service of the congregational year in our new temporary worship space at the Women’s Club in Westwood.

We continue our tradition of participating in our annual water ceremony during this service. Everyone is encouraged to bring some water from a place of meaning in your life. That could be a favorite summer destination or it could be tapwater gathered from your home.

The importance of the water is in the meaning. As we gather our collective water, we nourish our roots which will need special care during this year of transition.

Our annual CUC picnic will take place at the Women’s Club following the service.
