We Can Do Hard Things, with Guest Rev. Charles Lofin with UU Faith Action New Jersey.

In the domain of planning and policy, a “wicked problem” is one that is difficult or impossible to solve because of incomplete, contradictory, and changing requirements that are often difficult to recognize. Classic examples of wicked problems include Climate Change, Educational Policy, Sustainability, and Income Inequality. How can our Unitarian Universalist faith perspective guide us in our approach to wicked problems?

As Executive Director of UU FaithAction New Jersey, Charles Loflin serves as the principal link with UU congregations, volunteers, coalition partners, and legislators as policy director, chief administrator, and advisor to the Board. Charles joined UU FaithAction NJ staff in 2020 and stepped into the role of Executive Director in 2021. Charles is an affiliated community minister with the Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Montclair.
