‘The State of Hate’

Join us this Sunday morning for music, worship, education, and fellowship. David Horst, Minister, tackles a difficult but important topic, hate and extremism in America, in his sermon “The State of Hate.” He draws on the latest data from the Southern Poverty Law Center, the leading U.S. non-profit organization monitoring the activities of domestic hate groups and other extremists, and suggest ways we can bear witness against hate and extremism. We also take time to honor Yom Hashoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day, which begins on the evening of April 11.

Susan Gempler, Worship Associate; Lynn Sodora, Director of Religious Education; and Matt Anderson, Director of Music, join Rev. Horst in leading the service.

The monthly breakfast for Coming of Age students and their mentors begins at 9:30. Children and teachers join us for the beginning of the service then depart for Sunday School. The Youth Group meets at 3:30 at the Unitarian Society of Ridgewood.

Church Member Ruth Viera heads up our Welcome Host Team. Rab and Martha Bell, Church Members, host Coffee Hour.
