Join us for the lighting of the menorah and the retelling of the story of the Maccabees and the miracle of the light as we honor Hanukkah. We welcome the return engagement of the extraordinary violinist Efrat Shapira and her Klezmer ensemble. Pam Zeldin and Jeff Merrigan, Worship Associates, and David Horst, Minister, lead the service with Lynn Sodora, Director of Religious Education, and Allison Cryer, Student Minister. David’s sermon title is “The Maccabee Children.” Children and teachers join us for the beginning of the service before Sunday School classes. Coffee and conversation follow the morning programs.
