Practicing Generosity

Practicing Generosity. The latest articulation of our UU values, passed for a year of study and review at this year’s General Assembly, explicitly names Generosity as a core value of our faith tradition.  It states: “Our generosity connects us to one another in relationships of interdependence and mutuality.”  In other words, we are a people who freely give and receive, and through this sharing, we help create a Beloved Community. This Sunday, we’ll consider the power of various practices of generosity and the collective gifts that they bring to the world.
