February’s Worship Theme: “Resilience”
This congregational year we will explore a different theme each month through our worship services. Our monthly themes each represent an aspect of our theme for the entire congregational year:
“Regeneration.” February’s worship theme is “Resilience.”

Our Living Tradition

Sunday, February 5

Unitarian Universalism exists as a living tradition, meaning that the
rituals, practices and beliefs of our tradition are all subject to change,
evolving with our growing understanding. This Sunday, we will
celebrate the beauty and resilience inherent in this aspect of our
tradition. In doing so, we will explore the work the commission
charged with updating and revising Article II of the UUA bi-laws which
include our principles and sources. Read the most recent report from
the Article II Study Commission online. Join Rev. Andrée for a
discussion on this same topic following the service.

All-Ages Love Service

Sunday, February 12

Join us this Sunday for our annual all-ages love service. We will lift up
voices from Black History Month who exemplify love in action. Our
CUC choir performs.

Leadership Sunday

Sunday, February 19

Our beloved congregation relies on the dedication of our leaders to
contribute their time, energy, and talents to our daily activities and
decision making. This Sunday, we will hear from some of our
congregation leaders and what their contributions to CUC have meant to
them.

Generosity Sunday: Sharing the Journey Home

Sunday, February 26

On February 26, we launch our annual stewardship campaign with the
theme “Sharing the Journey Home.” We consider all the changes that lay
ahead for CUC, including finding a new building, and consider all the
ways we collectively support the continued journey to provide a home
for Unitarian Universalism in Bergen County and beyond.
