December’s Worship Theme: “Healing”
This congregational year we will explore a different theme each month through our worship services. Our monthly themes each represent an aspect of our theme for the entire congregational year: “Growing Toward Our Future.” December’s worship theme is “Healing.”

Tuesday, December 7, 7pm Service of Loss and Remembrance Location: In-Person at CUC and Zoom As we enter into the holiday season, we will gather to remember CUC members, personal friends, or family whom we have recently lost. This service will be led by Rev. Andrée and will be supported by the Pastoral Care Team. We will create an altar of remembrance to which you are invited to contribute. Bring a photo, and/or a memento of a loved one that you can share during the service. All are welcome to attend. Please register to attend in person. |

Sunday, December 12 The Gifts of Darkness Location: Outdoors at CUC and Zoom Often, light not darkness is associated with healing. But darkness, with its calm and stillness, also offers a type of healing. During this contemplative service, we’ll explore ways the dark can offer us healing. Friday, December 24, 7pm Annual Christmas Eve Service (online only) Location: Zoom Invite your family and friends to join us for a long-held CUC tradition: our Christmas Eve service. We will gather with song, story and candlelight to celebrate the joy and wonder of the holiday. Due to escalating COVID-19 cases in our area we are only offering this service online.
