Together, we participate in our annual Flower Ceremony, first created by Rev. Norbert Capek in 1923 at our partner congregation in Prague. Participants are encouraged to bring a single flower to service to contribute to the ceremony. We consider the hard work it takes to create and sustain diverse, interconnected communities and how vital such communities are for us today. The CUC Choir performs, including singing hymns composed by Čapek in their original Czech.
