“April in Paris”

Spring Fling has been the highlight of CUC’s Spring Social Season since 1990. It is also a major fundraiser with all the proceeds – in recent years more than $20,000 – going to CUC’s operating budget.

There is great food and music, fun decorations as well as silent and live auctions and raffles. Almost everyone in the congregation, including Religious Education students, contribute to the success of Spring Fling by attending, donating and bidding on dinners, special events, vacation opportunities, beautiful gift baskets. Recent themes have been Mardi Gras, the 60’s, and Cinco de Mayo.

The Spring Fling Committee of volunteers makes all this possible through its planning and hard work – and they have a lot of fun in the process.

Spring Fling is ‘a place to meet old friends and to make new ones’ and to fill your social calendar for the whole year with the events you donate and purchase. Social events auctioned at Spring Fling include exotic meals, parties, concerts and sporting events.

Last year’s event – raised almost $23,000 for CUC’s Operating Budget. Thanks to all who participated, and to those who gave their time, talent and donations, and in organizing this amazing event. This was its 25th year – a year of achievement and celebration.
Some of the highlights:  Belly Dancing, Family Pasta & Movie Night “Frozen”, An Afternoon of Art with Wine & Cheese, Pasta Dinner & Movie Night “Mambo Italiano”, The “70’s” Party,   Return of  Schlock Theater, and much more. The benefits of attending Spring Fling truly last all year.
